Could these be used with a mouse if the mouse user is talented?

i think that's up to u <3
but you're still going to be limited because pens have the advantage of having pressure sensitivity
but it is possible to make good art with your mouse, it's just harder for most people

I just want to tell you that I've been using these brushes since 2013 and I haven't changed them since because I LOVE THEM!!!!!! So many of my pieces are thanks to this wicked brush set. They are like my little secret weapon (only not secret because I link these to people often XD). I just wanted to take the time to reach out and really thank you for giving these out to the public. You're amazing and so is your art.

You'll want to go to the downloaded .zip file (it'll be the folder icon with the zip on the side)
Right click on it and on the drop menu there should be the option to "Extract all..."; click it.
Then a separate window will appear.
Select a destination for the extracted files to go to (a folder called 'brushes' on your desktop will suffice).
When the extraction is finished the folder will open automatically, providing the checkbox was checked (that's in the same place when your setting the destination).
The readme should now be readable.

It's not working. I can't seem to get the files to work with SAI Paint. Is it because I use a Mac Book?

Alrighty. So, open the readme and go back to your main file directory for Sai (that's probably the 'source' folder) and find the following files:
Brushform.conf
Brushtex.conf
Papertex.conf

Open all of them in notepad (or the mac equivalent to notepad). Now, in the readme, there will be 3 sets of different coding for each config file (which you just opened). You'll want to copy and paste the coding to the appropriate notepad file.
(1,blotmap\noise 1 bltmp.bmp has (brushform.conf) above it, you just need to copy all those codes to the brushform file you opened in notepad, don't worry about the bracketed heading).

Make sure they all go in their correct files, then save the .conf files and close them.

Tell me when you've done that so I can move on to creating the brushes in SAI c;

Btw. it seems that the brush settings can be imported as well. They are stored in the "toolnrm" folder, as consecutive .ini files. (Maybe you know this)
This is just a suggestion, but wouldn't it be convenient to include these files too, instead of manually having to create 25 brushes with different settings.
Best regards.

They should be in the main directory, where you put the files.
