You are definitely talented. And the character looks perfect. The way you shade it, skin tones, it's amazing.
But, and I hope you won't get this wrong because I admire your work and I'm your long time watcher on my other account, I think the background stands out too much.
It feels, at least to me, like character became a negative space and background attracts more attention which probably you didn't do on purpose.
Also I can see that you did background on a different layer from character and unless you soft it and blend it around the edges it will add more to the background-character attention battle.
I too have problem with backgrounds so I know how it feels when you are lost and don't know what to do with that unimportant space behind.
Again I'm sorry for saying so much but I believe that like me you want to improve and wouldn't mind if someone objectively points out things that don't work out.
And I'm really sorry if you don't like when people critique your artwork.
