Shuck The Firelight Progress

I had a lot of fun working on this piece, ~PaulAsaran entrusted his demi-god creations to me for their first ever portraits, and I was honored to work with these fascinating creatures. There are going to be a set of four of these strange creatures, and at first this started out as a $20 emergency sketch commission, but I really REALLY wanted to give painting them a try (because all four beings have vaporous/gas/fire bodies.. it's a bit hard to just.. sketch) so they were upgraded free of charge so I could practice XD <3 Anyways, This is the demi-god Shuck The Firelight, who I believe is the god of fire. His body is made of flame (he has no physical body), legs like a dragon, and a mask for a face. It was so much fun to work on something so different from what I normally do. Creature portraits of aliens and made-up stuff isn't my usual genre of work <3 I can't wait to start on the next of the demi-gods
